The series consisting of baryta prints and polaroids was based on a scenario.
The images show the outside, as well as the inner world of a young character,
entering the household of an older woman. The woman, who had wanted to become
a famous dancer and artistic star and eventually failed, now lives in the world
of fantasy and nostalgia.
Images Trouvées
I named the polaroid series "Images Trouvées", a title which refers to
a
french "objets trouvés", surrealistic conception of objects found and
then turned
to the actual objects of art. I perceive those photographs
not only as images I have been
finding in the world around me, but also
as very specific vision of reality
that has been found.
Past Tense
The series corresponds with a moment of my life
when I wanted to get away from the outside world.
I was fascinated by all the phenomenons happening in small
villages and corners of the cities.
